The Greenies
Who are the Greenies?
The Greenies is a group of students in the Primary School (PYP) that strives to increase awareness regarding climate change and sustainability. They meet once a week at lunch time and the group is led by Simon Watkin, PYP 2 teacher.

A Greenies meeting
Previous Greenies Projects at CIS:
- Conducted a survey of CIS teachers, asking them how much they knew about conserving energy, and what they did about it;
- Instituted a "foil-free week" to save foil, which is not biodegradable in landfills.
