Greenhouse Construction Begins!
What better way to welcome Spring than to build a greenhouse? Go on Green is building a greenhouse out of plastic bottles similar to this photo! Our aim is to have the greenhouse ready by Earth Day April 22.
We would like to ask everyone to please bring in empty 1.5-liter plastic bottles for the greenhouse. There is a collection box at the bottom of the stairs in the Primary School. Samantha Fern has also graciously made available her office for bottle collection and storage until construction begins. If bringing them to school is difficult, Isabella Smith at Books and Company has also agreed to take our bottles!
Thanks in advance for your bottles and look for the greenhouse in the coming month as it takes shape outside of the pre-K classrooms!

Greenies Team up with MYP Buddies to Collect Recyclable Paper
Now that we are doing a good job of separating our reusable and our recyclable paper, we needed a team to collect recyclable paper to put in the school's recycle bin. A big green THANK YOU to the Greenies led by Simon Watkin and their MYP buddies led by Daniel Cooper who collect our recyclable paper every Thursday at lunch time!
