Giving

Since its founding in 1962, Copenhagen International School has benefited from charitable gifts. CIS relies on philanthropic support to ensure that the creative and broadening aspects of this unique educational experience are available to this and a future generation of CIS students, as the School continues to educate globally-responsible and active citizens.

Quite simply, philanthropy at CIS makes our school better and our community stronger.

Copenhagen International School has LL§8A status as a Danish charitable institution. Under Danish law, 14,500 DKK per person is deductible. (500 DKK is not deductible.) This means that the maximum gift is 15,000 DKK per person (30,000 DKK per couple) to receive the full benefit of the tax deduction. The Copenhagen International School Foundation is an associated 501(c)(3) organization in the United States.
